Uber driver’s app now supports Apple CarPlay, allowing drivers with iPhones to accept trip requests and navigate through their car’s infotainment screen. The feature is currently being rolled out to Uber drivers, and it will be available to all drivers in the United States by the end of the month.

The Uber driver app for CarPlay will allow drivers to view and accept trips, add more rides to their queue, and navigate to pickup and drop-off locations using Uber’s navigation. Drivers can also view more route options, better see side streets, and view heat maps to learn which areas are congested — all without having to look at their phones.

Once available, simply open the Uber driver app on an iPhone, tap Go, and connect to the car’s infotainment system via USB cable or wireless CarPlay (if available). Drivers can then accept rides from the touchscreen of their vehicle.
